It started long ago. When the war between the "all-mighty yet teme midget" and the forces of A* began. Four division captains stood out, defeated the "A-MYTM" with all their might using their unfathomable tactics and vigorous strength. In a few hours, the long fight that had been occurring in the world of souls had finally reached a halt. A* finally experienced peace and freedom again.
The four commendable captains left, out of the thirteen protection squads, were Sotaichou Minamoto, Taichou Jhen, Taichou Britt with his Fukutaichou Ron, and Taichou Shea with her Fukutaichou Mikee. The rest were killed and died in the middle of protecting their homeland.
The whole place was indeed a mess. A lot had been destructed; many lives were taken and a lot of casualties occurred. The war was inevitable. It was thanks to the four great captains that the place never experienced any harm again.
With 9 captains and 11 vice-captains annihilated, A* barely survived. Immediate preparations had to be done - The quest for the new captains and vice captains began, the village had to be restored, and missions related to the real world had to be continued even with the little amount of people left. After a few months, A* was back into its normal state.
But not long after true peace had already been established in the village, the four great captains decided to resign from their positions.
"We wish to stay in the real world."
That's what they thought. Unexpectedly, after the great war, the four of them started to share a bond, something different, something not related to their "position as captains." It was friendship. Having lost their families and friends during the great war might have triggered this unforeseen chain. However, that didn't erase the fact that they wanted, and they DID go to the real world.
After getting into the real world, the four great captains with the two fukutaichou visited the former 12th division captain of A* society, Bat Kyou-san. He had been staying in the real world for almost 10 years already, together with previous 12th division shinigami's, Danica, Miru, and Elisha. He was also with former Kidou corps fukutaichou, Riz Ann. Their group owns a grocery store in the middle of Espanya Town, Manila, Philippines. (Okay, think of Manila as a province in here, will ya? Thanks.)
The four great captains took their gigai (fake body) with them and started to wander around Espanya Town. They had to find a place where they can stay in, and they had to look for a job. They couldn't really let the six of them stay at Kyou's so they had no choice. Furthermore, they knew no one in the real world, making everything for them grueling.
